Heat shrink wrappers are essential equipment in the modern packaging industry, widely used for packaging various products such as food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. To ensure the normal operation of the heat shrink wrapper, improve packaging efficiency, and guarantee operator safety, this article details the operation procedures.

Preparation

1. Equipment Inspection: Before operation, first check that all equipment of the heat shrink wrapper is intact, including the conveyor belt, heater, fan, and temperature control system. Ensure the equipment is in good working order to avoid affecting packaging results due to equipment malfunction.

2. Packaging Material Preparation: Prepare the required shrink film, ensuring the quality meets packaging requirements. Check that the shrink film size matches the product to avoid poor packaging results due to improper size.

3. Product Placement: Neatly place the products to be packaged on the conveyor belt, ensuring appropriate spacing between products to avoid collisions or compression during packaging.

Operation Process

1. Power On: After ensuring the equipment and packaging materials are ready, turn on the power switch of the heat shrink wrapper. The equipment will then enter standby mode.

2. Adjust Temperature: Adjust the heating temperature of the heat shrink machine according to the material and thickness of the shrink film used. Generally, thicker shrink films require higher heating temperatures. Set the heating temperature within a suitable range using the temperature control system.

3. Start the Conveyor Belt: After adjusting the heating temperature, start the conveyor belt of the heat shrink machine. The conveyor belt will then transport the product to the heating area for heat shrinking.

4. Heat Shrinking: When the product enters the heating area, the shrink film begins to shrink under the heat, tightly wrapping the product surface. The heating time and temperature should be adjusted according to the actual situation to ensure that the shrink film shrinks evenly on the product surface.

5. Cooling and Shaping: After heat shrinking, the product will enter the cooling area for cooling and shaping. The cooling time should be long enough to ensure that the shrink film forms a stable packaging effect on the product surface.
