Maintenance of Dies and Fixtures

Terminal dies and fixtures on the equipment must be installed accurately and securely. Regularly check their installation to prevent loosening from affecting processing accuracy. Adjust the gaps between the dies and the various fixtures on the machine to maintain optimal working conditions and ensure smooth die movement. At the same time, apply grease to the moving parts of the dies regularly as specified to reduce friction wear; it is generally recommended to perform lubrication at least once a week.

 

Preventing Overload Operation

Operating the terminal crimping machine under overload conditions is strictly prohibited. When setting the operating speed, even to keep up with production schedules, never exceed the speed value recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Generally, the operating speed should be set within a reasonable range based on wire specifications, die performance, and the overall condition of the equipment to avoid equipment malfunction due to excessive load.

 

Restrictions on Empty Machine Operation of Terminal Molds

The terminal mold must not be run empty. The equipment will automatically stop when it detects a lack of wire to protect the mold and equipment. Before reinstalling the wire, ensure it is properly installed; otherwise, do not activate the crimping function to avoid damaging the mold or causing product quality issues.

 

Regular Lubrication of Key Components

All smooth-moving points on the machine, such as bearings, bushings, and parts prone to friction like the lead screw, must be lubricated regularly. Lubrication should be performed at least twice a month, and the frequency can be increased appropriately based on the equipment's usage frequency and working environment. When selecting lubricating oil, choose the appropriate model and specification according to the equipment manual to ensure optimal lubrication.

 

Comprehensive Inspection of Equipment Operation

The terminal crimping machine must be checked regularly to ensure all parts are functioning properly. This includes, but is not limited to, the electrical system, transmission system, and control system. Carefully inspect all chain links and fasteners for looseness; if any are found to be loose, tighten them immediately. For fasteners in critical areas, such as motor mounting bolts and mold fixing screws, daily inspections should be conducted to ensure reliable tightening. Regularly check the wear of mechanical parts and cutting tools; if worn parts are found, they must be disassembled and replaced immediately. Worn cutting tools may cause problems such as loose terminal crimping and dimensional deviations, affecting product quality. It is generally recommended to develop a cutting tool replacement schedule based on equipment usage time and processing workload, and strictly adhere to the schedule for replacement and inspection.
